Activities
Open 365 days a year , Manatee Springs offers camping ,
hiking , fishing , swimming and boating along with many
other challenges for your outdoor experience . If outdoor
adventure is in your vacation plans , you can canoe or
kayak down the great Suwannee River and count the
alligators or grab your diving equipment and if your cave
certified ,  explore the many miles of caves that run under
the park.
**  All divers must register at the Ranger
Station and pay required fees. **
If your looking to just relax and get away from the
city life , you can camp in one of thier beautiful wooded
camp sites and enjoy the wild life as they come up and get
close and personal with you . With deer , armadillo's ,
squirrels and raccoons living abundantly through out the
park , it is a sure bet you will be getting a visit from one of
their many furry friends when they come up to  take a look
at what you are doing or try and join you for dinner. All
they ask when it comes to the wildlife in the Park is that
you enjoy visiting with them , take plenty of pictures and
enjoy your personal visit but PLEASE do not invite
them in for supper !
It is not good for their system and besides
" It's against the law "
Along with your daily visits from their furry friends , you
can enjoy beautiful walks along the boardwalk that takes
you out to the Great Suwannee River or follow one of their
many miles of hiking trails that takes you through all
natural hardwood hammocks and cypress swamps or just
sit back and relax  while you look out over the main boil
with its crystal clear water gently flowing out the spring
run .
Pavilions are available for family outings or company
picnics with a great children's play area close by that all
over look the beautiful spring .
Sitting in the middle of 2,444 acres of Florida's finest
natural scenery , Manatee Springs will take you back in
time to a place where Mother Nature kissed the ground
and blessed us with such a gift.
