Overnight Camping Trips
Catch our shuttle from Manatee Springs to Hart Springs for  8 to 10 hours paddle
time on this 2 day trip down the Historic Suwannee River that will take you past
some of Florida's greatest history . Grab your snorkel set and feel free to take a
swim around Hart Springs exploring the native plants and animals that live in the
Springs. When you depart from Hart Springs , travel a couple of hours and stop
off at the Historical site where the City of Hawkinsville is laying on the bottom of
the Great Suwannee River. Sitting in shallow water , the 141' paddle wheeler is
facing up river with the majority of its frame and hull still intact. You can snorkel
along and picture the size of this great boat while you enjoy the variety of
animals that now call the boat home from bass and brim to catfish. After leaving
the City of Hawkinsville , travel a couple more hours and stop in Fanning Springs.
The view over looking the Springs is breath taking . One of Florida's 1st
magnitude Springs , Fanning Springs puts out over 5000 gallons of water an hour.
For a challenge , grab your snorkel gear and swim down the 20 feet to the main
boil and try to hold your ground. The pressure will push you out and show you
just how powerful mother nature can be. After leaving Fanning Springs you will
have another 4 to 5 hour trip before arriving back at Manatee springs where you
can finish your day at one of the best snorkel sites in Florida .  Full of Mullet,
brim, bass and turtles, with ( a few small gators now and then ) this is one of the
best snorkel sites in Central Florida. Trip includes shuttle service , canoe or
kayak , life jackets , emergency whistle and camping at Fanning Springs. Cost is
$49.95 per person .
